BTEC L2 Engineering

You will study four units for your BTEC, Unit 1 Engineering world (On screen Exam) and Unit 2 Investigating an Engineering Product, Unit 3 Health and Safety in Engineering and Unit 4 Engineering Maintenance which are internal pieces of course work. All these units are worth 25% of your final grade.

Internal assessment is a school based piece of coursework which shows your understanding of the unit you are covering.

These will be marked and assessed by your teacher but then checked at the end of year 11 by the exam board to ensure the teacher has given an appropriate grade.

For the unit 1 Exam, it will be Onscreen on demand: an electronic, on-demand examination that learners sit at a computer and is electronically marked by Pearson.
